Hollywood attracts millions of visitors each year who travel there to see the glitz and glamour sights, take photos, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a few famous personalities. Hollywood is more of a state of mind since it is a neighborhood of the Los Angeles area. 
 Street scenes along Hollywood Boulevard This is one of the first places that a tourist thinks about when getting ready to go on vacation! Hollywood is the central location of many of the motion picture and television productions companies that entertain the world every day. There are so many things to see and do in this land of make believe, it is hard to address each item of interest for the family; however, we provide you with many photographs to entertain you along with other information. What do you want to see first? Homes of the Stars? Rodeo Drive? Farmer's Market? Hollywood-Highland Center? Walk of Fame? There are many fine tour companies that will show you a great time or you can drive yourself to each location. It is much easier to let someone else do the driving! Whether you choose to take a guided tour or drive , there are some definite must-sees on a visit to Hollywood. Some have been around for years while others have arrived recently.. Hollywood-Highland Center Area is a good start! 
 The Hollywood Entertainment District on Hollywood Boulevard extends along the world-famous Walk of Fame down 18-blocks of historic Hollywood Boulevard, from the La Brea Gateway to the corner of Hollywood & Vine and beyond. This epicenter of the entertainment capital of the world and birthplace of the movie industry contain many of Hollywood's most famous landmarks. At the La Brea Gateway, you will see a 30-foot tall Eiffel Tower shaped gazebo located near the start of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This structure is supported by four silver statuettes and is a tribute to the multi-ethnic actresses of Hollywood. The figures represent Mae West, Anna May Wong, Dolores Del Rio and Dorothy Dandridge. Hollywood Entertainment District
Star Line Tours - 1-800-959-3131 If you would like to take a tour of the city area, there are several tour operators available. The one that covers a lot of the area is the Star Line Tours with the red doubledecker buses. They cover 13 stops on their Red Route Bus tour. You and your family can purchase a 24 hour ticket and get off at any one of the 13 stops for awhile and then catch the next bus to continue your tour. You can purchase your ticket from the bus driver on any of the stops; however, it is really nice to start at Hollywood and Highland Center at stop number 1. You can see all the sights at that location, and then tour the rest of the area. They also have the Blue Route Bus tour that continues on for 4 more stops which includes Universal Studios "Citywalk."
